In November 2005 the Philharmonie Luxembourg was enrolled in the «European Concert Hall Organisation» (ECHO).
ECHO was created to facilitate communication and exchange between major European concert halls. Together they initiate ambitious joint projects, share best practice and generate solutions to joint issues and concerns.
Through its participation in this network the Philharmonie Luxembourg offers new chances for Luxembourg musicians, ensembles and orchestras beyond the country's borders.
One of ECHO's projects is the concert series » Rising Stars. The aim of this series is to bring young and exceptional young artists to new international audiences. The selected artists are offered unparalleled performance opportunities to present musical programmes of their choosing in the major concert halls of Europe. The focus is musical excellence; the artists presented are the best in their chosen field.
