The Philharmonie becomes a member of the ECHO (European Concert Hall Organisation)
In November 2005 the Salle de Concerts Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte was enrolled in the «European Concert Hall Organisation» (ECHO).

With the invitation to become a member of the ECHO, the Philharmonie Luxembourg gains access to the network of Europe's leading concert halls and with it the possibilities of working together on outstanding international projects. This offers new chances for Luxemburg musicians, ensembles and orchestras beyond the country's borders. One of the ECHO's projects is the concert series » Rising Stars, jointly organised by all the participating European concerts halls and the Carnegie Hall – a very attractive springboard for international careers that now promises to be available to highly-talented young musicians from Luxemburg.
