The saxophonist-composer, born in 1978, is the Netherlands’ great jazz newcomer. Esperanza Spalding, who collaborated on the quartet’s last CD, raves about «Tineke’s beautiful spirit and musical sensibility», while JazzThing rates her «one of the most beautiful and characterful voices of her generation on alto and soprano sax».
