The ticketing office is open weekdays from 10:00 to 18:30.
The box office opens one hour prior to the start of the concerts and remains open during intermission.

 

 

 

The Philharmonie’s subscription series
As a subscriber, you can be sure not to miss any of your favourite concerts, you get a choice from the best seats available, and you benefit from a 10% discount on the single ticket price in free sale. Furthermore, if you decide to renew your subscription, your seats will be reserved for you in subsequent seasons.

 

Subscription renewals
Renew your subscriptions now until 15th May 2009

The seats you are holding for your respective subscription series of the current season (except for option concerts) will be held in your name until 15th May 2009 should you wish to renew your subscription; after that they will be allocated to the next purchaser.

 

New subscription orders

Your new subscription orders will be processed in chronological order of receipt as soon as all subscription renewals are finished. We will respond to the requests in due course.

 

Reduction (< 27 years)
A reduction of 40% on the single ticket price is available for persons of less than 27 years of age (reduction applies only to persons born on or after 30th June 1983) upon presentation of an identity document. For written orders please enclose a photocopy of the document, showing the date of birth. Should you be unable to attend a particular concert, you can return your ticket to our Ticket Office during opening hours, and at the latest 24 hours prior to the start of the concert. If we manage to resell the seat, you will receive a voucher for the equivalent of the ticket value, minus a 5 € handling fee. This voucher is valid for a period of one year and can be exchanged for tickets to all events organised by and taking place at the Philharmonie. In the event of a concert cancellation without substitution, tickets will be refunded. Reselling tickets is prohibited.

 

Single ticket sale at the Philharmonie
Single ticket sale for all subscription concerts starts as a rule one month before the respective concert; should this coincide with a week-end or holiday, ticket sales start the following workday. For all «Concerts exceptionnels», «Luxembourg Festival» events as well as for «Chill at the Phil»,«On the Border», «1.2..3… musique» and «Musek erzielt», single ticket sale starts on 6th July 2009. Ticket sale for the festival «rainy days» starts on 5th October 2009. In our publications, ticket sales icon will indicate the start of single ticket sales. The exact date will be communicated in the respective monthly brochure.

 

Reservation

  • Subject to availability, a reservation request is possible for most concerts.
  • The Philharmonie may ask you to pay immediately for some particular events.
  • All reservations still unpaid for five days prior to the concert will be cancelled.
  • Purchased tickets can be sent to your address by post, subject to a fee of 2 €.

Backstage
Many concerts are accompanied by «Backstage»supporting programmes enabling you to go beyond the regular concert experience. These introductions allow anyone interested in more than just the concert to participate in encounters and discussions with composers, musicians, authors and musicologists. «Backstage» programmes are free of charge for ticket holders of the main event. Details are published on our » Website and in the monthly- and evening programmes.

 

Evening programmes
For many concerts, evening programmes are available free of charge one hour before the beginning of the event. The majority of the Philharmonie’s evening programmes can also be found in PDF format on the Website www.philharmonie.lu prior to every concert.

 

Monthly programmes
If you wish to receive our detailed monthly programme free of charge, please fill out the form entitled «Newsletter» on our Website www.philharmonie.lu. Alternatively, just give our Ticket Office a call or visit us to pick up your copy of the programme.

 

Read, listen and watch – online
At www.philharmonie.lu, you will find up to date information about all events and concerts taking place at the Philharmonie. Audio and/or video excerpts are available online for most of the concerts organised by the Philharmonie. By following the web content accessibility guidelines issued by the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) the Philharmonie made its Website as accessible as possible to people with disabilities.

 

Audio and Video Recordings
Making audio and/or video recordings of any kind is prohibited.

 

The Philharmonie reserves the right to take pictures and make audio/video recordings or transmissions of individual concerts for promotional purposes. By purchasing a ticket or subscription the concert-goer agrees to these conditions.
