In this training session, Paul Smith presents his method and shows how teachers can lead groups to make music with body and voice. Paul Smith co-founded vocal ensemble VOCES8 with his brother, Barnaby. He is a passionate educator and based on his experiences of working with young people and on the research of Susan Hallam, he developed the VOCES8 method that helps teachers to make music with their classes. The method is especially aimed at teachers who have little previous experience while more experienced music teachers will no doubt also discover new ideas.
