Rachel Leach composition leading, concept

With its diverse properties, wood is one of the most fascinating natural materials and, as one of the five elements along with water, earth, fire and metal, it stands as a symbol for growth and powerful energy. In a workshop with composer Rachel Leach, schoolchildren will invent their own sounds based on the element «wood» and perform their creation together with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg on the stage of Grand Auditorium as part of the moderated concert «D’ fënnef Elementer». The performances will take place on 12.05.2023 for schools and on 13.05.2023 for a family audience as part of a children and youth festival around the topic of «Nature».
