Rhonda Wilkinson

Violin

Rhonda attended the Cleveland Institute of Music during her preparatory years, studying violin, theory, and orchestra. After a year at Wellesley College, she transferred to the University of Michigan Music School, where she studied with Jacob Krachmalnick, former leader (concertmaster) of the Cleveland and Philadelphia orchestras. After obtaining her Bachelor of Music degree, she played in the Toledo (Ohio) Symphony, then moved to Brussels and free-lanced, playing regularly with the BRT orchestra while studying with Maurice Raskin. She became a member of the Orchestre Symphonique de RTL, now the OPL, in 1983.
