Alexander Schubert: Sleep Laboratory (commande Philharmonie, United Instruments of Lucilin, Acht Brücken | Musik für Köln et La Biennale di Venezia avec le soutien de la Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung)

After the legendary production Black Mirror with United Instruments of Lucilin at the Gantebeensmillen in 2016, Alexander Schubert returns with the immersive installation Sleep Laboratory, a dream-like journey through virtual realities.

NOTE:
This production makes use of stroboscopic light effects. Therefore, epileptics and persons who are sensitive to light are advised not to attend this performance.
Visitors will wear virtual-reality glasses provided by the Philharmonie.
They will be divided into groups of two and instructed to touch the hands, arms and shoulders of the other person in their team.
