Saxophonist and flutist Charles Lloyd is a «newbie» in the Philharmonie’s programme: at the age of 83, the jazz legend, who has been making a name for himself since the 1960s, playing with musicians such as Ornette Coleman, Charlie Haden, Keith Jarrett, Zakir Hussain, Bill Frisell and even Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Beach Boys and The Doors, graces the Philharmonie’s stage for the first time on 03.12. For more than half a century, Lloyd has been an unostentatious servant to music with a healthy disregard for any stylistic boundaries.
For this concert, all visitors aged twelve years old and two months and up must show proof of eligibility to attend via CovidCheck. You must wear a facemask for your entire stay at the Philharmonie, including for the duration of the concert, if you are over the age of 6. Concerts presented under CovidCheck rules will take place at full seating capacity. For further information, click here
