Martin Scorsese obtained his uncontested place on Mount Olympus of Hollywood classic films after the 1976 premiere of Taxi Driver, and he has maintained his cult status ever since. Robert De Niro became a legend with his portrayal of a yellow cab driver, and Bernard Herrmann made film music history. What could be more impressive than experiencing this road movie on the gigantic screen of the Grand Auditorium of the Philharmonie, accompanied by 3D live sound of the Orchestre du Luxembourg under the baton of Robert Ziegler?
