The multi-talented Damon Albarn – a founding member of Blur, of The Good, The Bad & The Queen, and the virtual group Gorillaz – loves unwinding in Iceland. Therefore, on Feb. 26 he invites the audience to a musical tour of the island nation’s glacial landscapes. Inspired by the extraordinary variety of Icelandic landscapes, Albarn developed his very personal project «The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows», whose title is borrowed from a work by the English romantic John Clare. Unfolding an almost orchestral richness of sound, Albarn uses music as a medium to trace the transience of time and the fragility of nature.
This concert takes place under the CovidCheck 3G regulations (vaccinated, recovered or tested negative) for visitors aged 12 years and 2 months and up.
