That tingly world premiere feeling for the entire family: in their brand-new musical theatre piece Der herzlose Riese (The Heartless Giant), composer Elena Kats-Chernin and librettist Susanne Felicitas Wolf have drawn upon an ancient folk fairy-tale. Here is a spell-binding story about how courage and going out on a limb for others also pay off for yourself. Lene Dahl, the fairy-tale’s heroine, not only travels with her audience into the fairy-tale realm of King Henrik, to save his sons held hostage by the giant, she also makes new friends along the way – for example with a wise she-wolf.
