The musical landscape of the Grande Région reflects the character of this area at the heart of Europe: diverse and multicultural. Since its opening, the Philharmonie has offered a platform to Luxembourg’s vibrant scene of amateurs and professional musicians. Now it dedicates to it the Fräiraim Festival, full of musical highlights and discoveries. The whole Philharmonie and the Place de l’Europe resound with music which looks beyond stylistic borders, ranging from jazz to flamenco, hip hop and classical – fireworks, radiating far beyond musical and geographical frontiers.
