Kompositionswerkstatt für Kinder zwischen 10 und 14 Jahren (D)

Anyone can learn to create music. In this workshop, children take on the composer’s role, developing their own musical ideas with the support of a team of composers, music pedagogues and performers. Taking the sound poem Ursonate by Kurt Schwitters as the point of departure, the young composers will find their own approaches to write pieces that they will present with the musicians in a final concert. This project involves several short workshop sessions over two weekends.
