After his first solo project entitled «SOL», Pascal Schumacher introduces «LUNA» on Nov. 12, a nocturnal counterpart for his previous work, whose complementarity is as obvious as the fact that night follows day. The Luxembourgish musician mixes the sounds of vibraphone and electronics over a carpet of strings unfurled by the Belgian ensemble Echo Collective. He thereby demonstrates a melancholier and more meditative facet of his work, highlighted by accents that never exceed the intimacy of the whole. The musical chiaroscuro painting thus crated under the leadership of a nostalgic, sensitive composer and performer is as simple as it is rich in sound.
