Singer, musical entertainer, director… and now, in a special sense, also a music researcher: there seems to be nothing with which Rolando Villazón cannot delight a broad audience of all generations. At the Philharmonie Luxembourg the tenor appears as a storyteller, in the best sense of the word. In the first of three moderated concerts during the 2019/20 season, on October 24, Villazón, the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg under Marie Jacquot and musical guests will undertake a journey through Europe – on the trail of a composer with whom, by his own admission, the singer has a very special relationship: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
