Rolando Villazón has many trumps up his sleeve: he is not only a tenor, but also a director, author and radio and television presenter. On Jan. 18 this Franco-Mexican jack-of-all-trades once again proves his mettle as a raconteur, mixing music, experience and anecdote, singing and speaking to take the audience deep into the fascinating world of opera. Aided by young musicians and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, he offers the audience not only moments of pure enjoyment, but also a chance to do good: ticket sales revenues from «Rolandopéra!» will be donated to the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra Academy.
