The Salle de Musique de Chambre need not fear comparison with the greatest jazz clubs when the genre’s cream of the crop comes to perform here: Anthony Braxton and his experimental free jazz, an intergenerational encounter with Joachim Kühn and Daniel Humair, trio with Joe Lovano and and Lars Danielsson with an instrument rarely performed in this context: the cello.
