Gustav Mahler: Symphonie N° 2 «Auferstehung» / «Résurrection»

The London Symphony Orchestra, one of the world’s leading orchestras, comes to the Philharmonie Luxembourg not for one, but two concerts: in the first, on Sept. 19, Sir Simon Rattle conducts Jean Sibelius’ single-movement Seventh Symphony and a work by the young British composer Daniel Kidane which is hot off the press. On Sept. 20, Rattle leads soloists, chorus and orchestra through Gustav Mahler’s monumental Second Symphony, in which the organic coexistence of pure orchestral music, intimate solo vocalism and powerful choral passages converge in one of the composer’s most impressive creations.

Parking Place de l’Europe géré par Indigo:
En raison de travaux, le troisième étage restera temporairement fermé mais l’accès aux quatrième et cinquième étages 4 et 5 sera possible. Afin de fluidifier la circulation vers ces étagesniveaux, nous avons travaillé en concertation avec Indigo, et du personnel sera présent à plusieurs endroits pour gérer la circulation et permettre un accès facilité aux étages inférieurs.
Nous vous conseillons néanmoins de prévoir d’arriver plus tôt à la Philharmonie ou de vous garer au Parking des Trois Glands offrantqui a une capacité de stationnement de 523 places. Veuillez noter que ce parking n’a cependant pas d’ascenseur.
