«less is more» could also be the slogan of the ensemble Apartment House from London. The group is dedicated to a wide variety of sonic reductions, ranging from the idiosyncratic minimal music of Julius Eastman to graphic scores and Fluxus concept pieces, as well as the silence-infused music of Wandelweiser composers. The young British composer Georgia Rodgers’s new piece will enrich the ensemble’s spectrum with a new color.
