Praised as «fearless, dazzling, exceptional» (The Guardian), pianist Tamara Stefanovich is known for her interpretations of the classical piano repertoire as much as her championing of music of our own time. She regularly presents her sophisticated programmes at the world’s great concert halls. In Luxembourg, she last appeared in January 2019 with Pierre-Laurent Aimard. In her first solo recital at the Philharmonie, she presents a virtuoso and poetic tour d’horizon from Rachmaninov and Scriabin to new works composed especially for her, effortlessly demonstrating what pianistic jewels études are even in the 20th and 21st century. After the concert, the pianist participates in an artist talk.
