L’Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA), fédération nationale de musique du Luxembourg, organise chaque année des concours de musique et de chant, et, à intervalles réguliers, des concours internationaux afin de promouvoir le répertoire instrumental et choral au Luxembourg et en Europe. En 2023, l’UGDA organise, en étroite collaboration avec la Philharmonie Luxembourg et dans le cadre de la série «Fräiraim», un Concours Musical Européen pour orchestres à vent et attend des candidatures venant de tous les pays et notamment des pays européens. Le concours est ouvert aux orchestres et orchestres de jeunes du degré supérieur qui concourent toutefois dans la même catégorie.
