Italian charm and Gallic elegance
are key features of this concert of works for wind ensemble, given by members of the Luxembourg Philharmonic. Donizetti’s Sinfonia for Winds is full of the singable melodies that made his operas so rightly famous. It is performed here alongside Emile Bernard’s Divertissement, and George Enescu’s colourful Dixtuor. After the concert, audience members will have the chance to meet the performers over a drink.
Organised by d'Frënn vun de Lëtzebuerger Philharmoniker
The concert will be recorded and broadcast on radio 100.7 on May 19, 2024.
