In its first concert of the season, the Luxembourg Philharmonic presents some unusual works by three established composers. Maurice Ravel enchants the audience with a musical tale for children, Sergei Prokofiev injects his Symphony N° 3 with excerpts from an opera that was never performed in his lifetime, and Dmitri Shostakovich surprises us with a piano concerto that includes a trumpet solo, making it seem almost like a double concerto.Details
