The rainy days
F stival

The festival for new music in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

Memory, the five senses, the universe…

These are only some of the many themes explored at the rainy days festival since its inception in 2000. Every year, a talented pool of established and emerging contemporary composers converge at the Philharmonie to translate these vast notions into concrete and multifaceted artistic ideas – much to the enjoyment of curious minds of all ages and levels of musical experience. Over the course of four, intense days, you can get a taste of what is currently happening in the world of musical creation through concerts, workshops, installations, conferences, and even coffee dates with composers! Watch this page to find out more about the next edition of the festival, which will be curated and directed by Catherine Kontz.
