Can you present us your instrument in three words?
Sweet, delicate and loud.
Do you remember the first time you fell in love with your instrument?
It was after my first ever lesson in Greece. I was so excited that I showed my instrument to the neighbour saying: «Oh, look at this! It has four strings, it is so great!».
If you could have dinner with one composer or artist (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
I would love to meet David Oistrakh, as he is an amazing violinist.
If you had to impress someone at an audition, what piece would you play?
A piece I really love:Tzigane by Maurice Ravel.
What have been your favourite moments with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy so far?
We have a lot of fun at the Academy. There are so many moments I really can’t pick one. The environment is very good, and everyone is super friendly.
When you're not busy playing music, where are we most likely to find you?
When I don’t play the violin, I am mostly in the train travelling.
What three songs are living rent-free in your head?
Violin Concerto N° 1 by Dmitri Shostakovich and Symphony N° 6 by Gustav Mahler. I also really like the early 2000s pop songs, but I can’t choose a specific one.
