With passion, vocal virtuosity and a mesmerizing stage presence, the mezzo-soprano and musical treasure-hunter champions an unjustly forgotten repertoire, a category which also includes Georg Friedrich Händel’s Giulio Cesare in Egitto. Bartoli and her Musiciens du Prince-Monaco under Gianluca Capuano bring this work to the Philharmonie, where they are joined by a stellar cast of vocalists.
