Originally written to soothe an insomniac nobleman,

Bach’s Goldberg Variations have become one of his best-loved works, not only in its original form for harpsichord, but also in numerous arrangements. In this concert, Janine Jansen, Timothy Ridout and Daniel Blendulf perform their own version for string trio.
