A symphony recycled from an opera?
That’s the exciting programme for the first Lunch Concert of the season! Come and see the Luxembourg Philharmonic rehearse its season opening, where they will play Sergei Prokofiev’s Symphony N° 3. It is adapted from his own opera The Fiery Angel, a piece that was never performed during his lifetime. The new symphony was on the contrary very successful! And if you want to hear that classical chart topper in full, come to the Luxembourg Philharmonic’s first concert of the 2024/25 artistic year on 20.09.
