Today’s music is overly intellectual? The 2025 festival rainy days grabs this cliché by the throat, choosing «bodies» as its theme. Bodies and physicality have always interested the arts. Especially in music, the subject is ambiguous, the idea that the body cannot do without spirit, nor the spirit without the body, more than a bon mot. The multitude of approaches to the body and bodies is reflected in the festival’s programme, once again designed for diehard fans of contemporary music and those who are simply curious alike, offering something for almost all age groups.

The artists

  • Knut Aufermann Performance

Knut’s Kissa invites you to step into a cozy listening cafe

in which chatting and paying attention to music coexist. Based on the Japanese jazz kissa concept, Knut’s Kissa is a cafe whose focal point is a superb hi-fi system. In contrast to standard music venues, the rainy days kissa will operate a «bring your own» policy for recorded music – which means you are welcome to come along with CDs and vinyls to add to the playlist queue. Together we look forward to a toe-tapping, shoulder-swaying, head-nodding, extraordinarily hi-fidelity listening experience.
