Babar, the elephant familiar from Jean de Brunhoff’s children’s classics, grows up among humans, but the well-dressed elephant is soon longing for his home, the jungle, where he is unexpectedly crowned king. In the struggle against the rhinoceroses, he is aided by his elephantine wisdom and the occasional human trick!
