A leading female voice in música popular brasileira,

Mônica Salmaso will be revisiting the repertoire of an album recorded in 2011 that explores the soul of her country, from Heitor Villa-Lobos to Chico Buarque. Carefully crafted arrangements blending piano and wind instruments, coupled with lyrics that alternate between humorous and poignant, form the ingredients of a musical tribute to Brazil’s immense musical richness.
