Roll Over Beethoven offers a deep insight into the existential quandaries of the maestro from Bonn, as expressed in his poignant «Heiligenstadt Testament». After a performance of Symphony N° 3, a symbol of hope following despair, John Malkovich will be narrating a life marked by increasing isolation as deafness set in, and a body of work that has left its mark on the history of music.
