Live Cinema: Family Edition
Masters of burlesque take centre stage in the two short films presented during this ciné-concert with the Luxembourg Philharmonic, intended for the whole family. First up is the duo of Laurel & Hardy, for whom the failed sale of a Christmas tree leads to an unlikely string of mishaps, and whose antics will be accompanied by a score composed by Timothy Brock, presented here in its world premiere. This will be followed by the legendary Charlie Chaplin and his irresistible portrayal of a worker alternating between starvation and drunkenness.
Production Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg in collaboration with the Luxembourg Philharmonic and the Philharmonie
