For the past 40 years,

the eight members of the Scharoun Ensemble – a spinoff from the prestigious Berliner Philharmoniker – have been touring the world with a repertoire blending great classics with contemporary gems. In this concert, two serenade-like masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert meet a lesser-known composition by the German modernist Hans Werner Henze.
