«You must play for the love of music!»

One of the most influential cellists of our time, Mstislav Rostropovich – nicknamed Slava which translates to «Glory» – was a champion of making music from the heart. Rising Star Petar Pejčić has curated a programme that pays homage to Rostropovich: a luminary who inspired many of his peers to compose new repertoire for him. Following in these footsteps, Pejčić will also premiere a commission by a fellow Serbian as part of ECHO’s quest to promote contemporary creations.
