Stepping up to the podium.
Leonidas Kavakos is no stranger to the Philharmonie, having performed as a violin soloist on numerous occasions, but this concert marks his conducting debut with the Luxembourg Philharmonic, as they bring to life Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Prepare for a mythical journey from the Catacombs of Paris to the Great Gate of Kiev, but not before you’ve enjoyed the majestic splendour of Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto – a tribute to his wife Clara, performed masterfully by this year’s Artist in focus, virtuoso Beatrice Rana.Tickets
