 Drawing on Arabic music and its improvised arabesques,

Wajdi Riahi navigates between «melodic elegance, restraint in ornamentation, and classicism embraced as a personal language» (Télérama). A student of Eric Legnini, the young Tunisian pianist cites John Coltrane’s «Giant Steps» as his benchmark and has no qualms about venturing into the world of Johann Sebastian Bach, proof that his artistic curiosity is matched only by the freshness of his interpretations.
