Lost music, rescued from the archives.
For over four decades, William Christie and Les Arts Florissants have been pulling forgotten masterpieces out of library archives and putting them back where they belong – on stage. This programme features three grand motets by Jean-Philippe Rameau and Jean-Joseph Cassanéa de Mondonville: lavish sacred works originally written for the French royal court, full of drama, colour and sheer spectacle. Think of them as the blockbusters of their day. There's no better introduction to French Baroque music!Tickets
