Some of the latest works composed by Robert Schumann,

the chamber music pieces featured in this evening’s programme were inspired by his joys and torments. Aylen Pritchin and Maxim Emelyanychev, who already know each other quite well, invite cellist Nicolas Altstaedt to join them for a concert dedicated entirely to the German Romantic composer.
