Europe’s biggest music competition for wind orchestras

returns for its fourth edition, organised by the Luxembourg music federation Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA) in collaboration with the Philharmonie. Over two days, the best European ensembles and the best Luxembourgish groups will be selected in separate categories. The competition will end with a festive closing concert.

A space for live music and local talent

Classical music, jazz, pop, rock, experimental music… the Grand Duchy’s music scene is extremely rich and diverse. With the Heemspill programme, the Philharmonie Luxembourg aims to spotlight the many musicians active throughout the country, both amateurs and professionals. In a spirit of collaboration, discovery and promotion, it offers them a platform to reach a wider audience and helps them find their way.
