For you just as for us, sharing and cultivating a love of music while connecting generations present and future is a key driving force. Season after season, the Philharmonie is determined to make music accessible to everyone, so that it continues to resonate with and to inspire many generations to come.

Choosing to pass on part of your legacy is a personal decision that involves reflection and dialogue. On this page, you will find answers to your questions. Our team is fully dedicated to supporting you with your plans and is available to assist you in complete confidence and with no obligation.

Which institutions are eligible to receive a bequest?

'- Établissement public Salle de concerts Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte (Philharmonie Luxembourg)
- Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy asbl
- Fondation EME (Écouter pour Mieux s’Entendre)

Why support our mission?

Supporting our values means committing to the continuity of an ambitious project. Together, we can play an active role in promoting Luxembourg's cultural and musical heritage.
Concretely, this translates into financially supporting the Philharmonie’s artistic and educational activities; creating and sustaining projects which promote inclusion and access to culture via the Fondation EME; as well as continuing to deliver excellence and a solid training to young talents aspiring to become orchestra musicians through the Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy.

What can I choose to donate?

You can bequeath any type of property or asset: real estate, instruments, sums of money, shares – provided that the portion legally reserved for your direct descendants remains allocated to them.

Can I support a specific project?

Of course! Your bequest reflects who you are, and we make it a point of honour to ensure it is invested in the projects closest to your heart. If you feel particularly strongly about one of our missions, we are committed to respecting your wishes and to ensuring that your chosen project thrives.

How do I go about this?

The process of making a bequest begins with drawing up a will, which can, of course, be amended or revoked at a later date. We advise you to consult a notary for guidance throughout this process.

What happens if I live outside of Luxembourg?

You can contact your own solicitor, who will liaise with a colleague in Luxembourg. They will draw your attention to the fact that the laws of your country of residence take precedence over Luxembourgish law.

Who can I contact?

Our team is fully dedicated to honouring your wishes, and will welcome you in complete confidence and with no obligation. We are here to answer your questions and discuss your plans. You can contact Ms Marie Caillet by email at [email protected] or [email protected], or by telephone on (+352) 260 227 920.
