«I have learned that music is an infinite journey,

and I am but a humble traveler.» No doubt you would feel humble too if it took twenty years of hard grind to finish off your first symphony. Johannes Brahms was initially reluctant to attempt writing a symphony for fear of failure. But practice makes perfect and his final work for symphony orchestra, the Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, was completed in just one summer. Join Yannick Nézet-Seguin and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe to experience the self-discovery of a brilliant composer.
