About «résonances»

Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard explores 72 miniatures!

An expert on György Kurtág – the Hungarian composer who turned 100 on 19.02. – has recorded an anthology of the Játékok cycle, from which he will perform excerpts during the concert. These works by the master of miniatures will be paired with passages from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier and dances by Franz Schubert. 72 pieces each averaging just over a minute in length… a bit like an assortment of musical appetisers!
