We tend to forget it sometimes, but the piano is a string instrument!
All the more reason to let it mingle with with other members of the string family on occasion, as many composers have done by writing piano quartets. These works typically bring together a violin, a viola and a cello around the keyboard. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and Gabriel Fauré are three of the many that tried their hand at the piano quartet – much to our pleasure. Joined by three friends, young prodigy Kit Armstrong invites you to an intimate evening at the piano – don’t miss it!Tickets

An Evening with Kit Armstrong: Between Organ & Piano
We take you back to Kit Armstrong's organ & piano recital concert at our Grand Auditorium! We had the chance to sit down with him to discuss about his preparation and approach with the Philharmonie's Schuke organ, the particularities of the organ as a composer's instrument, the repertoire as well as the intrinsic relationship between natural sciences and music! In addition to these enlightening insights, you may also relive some fantastic concert excerpts.
