«To send light into the darkness of men’s hearts – such is the duty of the artist.»

Robert Schumann experienced more than his fair share of darkness, as he grappled with lifelong mental health struggles. Yet the dedication to his artistic duty was clear; he completed his first two piano trios the same year he lost an infant son and two close friends. Three renowned soloists join forces to showcase these works of perseverance in the face of difficult times. Are you ready to fill your heart with light?
