Project Manager Education (m/f/x)

Full-time CDD, 2 years

Position

The Education department organizes, produces and promotes approximately 200 performances for young audiences per season, alongside thematic festivals and a diverse range of participation, learning and community music programs.

Mission

  • You independently manage concert productions for young audiences. This includes tasks such as organizing and managing production logistics, planning travel and rehearsals, drafting and administering contracts, communicating with artists, agencies, and partners, and ensuring smooth execution of the events
  • You design and implement school initiatives, workshops and participatory music education projects
  • You work closely with the Senior Manager of the education department to support and contribute to various music education initiatives and strategic goals

Profile

  • Academic qualifications in a relevant field such as project/arts/music management, musicology or music education
  • Prior experience in project management within music education or the performing arts
  • Strong organizational skills, with a sense of responsibility, reliability, and a positive, professional work ethic
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Passion for music education and high motivation to contribute to the success of the education program
  • Fluency in at least two of the following languages: German, French and English

Dans une société en quête de dignité et d’inclusion, la Fondation EME permet à chacun de mieux vivre ensemble, grâce au langage universel de la musique. Créée en 2009 sur initiative de la Philharmonie Luxembourg, la Fondation EME organise et développe 700 événements par an qui sont à la croisée de la musique et du social et pour des personnes exclues de la vie culturelle. La Fondation EME collabore avec des musiciens professionnels de l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg (OPL) et du Luxembourg dans les hôpitaux, maisons de retraite, institutions pour personnes en situation d’handicap, foyers pour migrants, prisons, etc.


Vos missions : 

Dans un cadre dynamique de travail, vous allez participer aux activités quotidiennes de la Fondation EME et assumer les tâches suivantes :

  • Planification, organisation et suivi de différents projets (workshops, concerts, trainings)
  • Gestion et suivi administratif des projets 
  • Créer et poursuivre des relations durables avec les institutions qui collaborent avec la Fondation EME
  • Présence lors des différents événements de la Fondation EME

Votre profil : 

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire ou BTS spécialisé en gestion des institutions culturelles ou équivalent. 
  • Une première expérience dans le domaine du management culturel/musical et la gestion de projets culturels et/ou événementiel est un atout.
  • Vous faites preuve de rigueur, d’organisation et d’autonomie dans votre travail. 
  • Vous maîtrisez parfaitement le luxembourgeois, le français et l’allemand.
  • Vous disposez d’excellentes qualités relationnelles. Une connaissance du milieu social/pédagogique/musical est un atout.
  • Vous avez un esprit d’initiative et de discrétion 
  • Être en possession du permis de conduire est un atout

Trainee - Stage technician (m/f/x)

3 Jahre gesetzlich anerkannte grenzüberschreitende Ausbildung: 

Der praktische Teil der Ausbildung erfolgt in der Philharmonie Luxembourg. Der theoretische Teil sowie die Prüfungen finden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Chambre des Métiers und der Industrie-und Handelskammer für Rheinhessen in Mainz statt (5x2 Wochen Blockunterricht pro Jahr).


Was du bei uns lernst: 

  • Licht, Ton, Projektion, Video, Spezialeffekte
  • Auf- und Abbau, Einrichtung und Bedienung von Beleuchtungs-, Projektions- und Beschallungsanlagen 
  • Sicherung, Transport und Lagerung von Geräten und Anlagen
  • Projektkoordination, Planung und Beratung
  • Durchführung von Veranstaltungen und Projekten


Was du mitbringen solltest: 

  • Prüfungszeugnis zur technischen und beruflichen Reife (DAP)
  • Gutes technisches Verständnis und handwerkliches Geschick
  • Allgemeines Interesse für Musik und neue Technologien
  • 18 Jahre und PKW Führerschein
