A fictional dialogue with the great Russian composer

Pianist and composer Jean-François Zygel has always had a special relationship with Dmitri Shostakovich, whose writing, energy, emotional power and humour have never ceased to inspire him. In this unique musical journey, Jean-François Zygel converses with the strings of the Kreisler Quartet, combining creation, repertoire and improvisation to mark the 50th anniversary of the famous Russian composer’s death.
