Song

No frills, no flash – just pure musical depth.

A long-time friend of the Philharmonie, piano virtuoso Evgeny Kissin is known for making even the quietest phrases feel monumental, and this recital is full of moments that linger. From the elegant architecture of Ludwig van Beethoven to the inward poetry of Frédéric Chopin’s mazurkas, the rich lyricism of Sergei Rachmaninov to the rarely heard intensity of Nikolai Myaskovsky, each work in this carefully curated programme opens a new emotional window. Romantic, yes. But never sentimental. Just music played with honesty, clarity and complete command.
